Popped in here while out walking. A perfect spot mid walk. The lady was lovely and polite, only had a cup of tea and a sausage bap it was just what I needed. Sat outside in the sun. Definitely be coming back when I’m out.

Owned by Jon, who served in 3 Para. Good selection of hot and cold drinks and plenty of cakes. You can even have a cooked breakfast in a traditional Army Mess Tin.

A really friendly little place, where you can, while away the hours, chatting to other customers whilst enjoying tea/coffee or a range of soft drinks. If you're lucky enough you can have your breakfast in a mess tin, egg banjos for those who want a taste of the old days, or for those with a sweeter tooth, some lively fresh cakes. Dogs are very welcome as is everyone else.

Best cafe on the Chase, perfectly placed for a mid ride break if you are riding on the Monkey Trail, if only riding the Follow the Dog then you have to divert slightly and cross the bridge over the railway line but it’s not distance.
